12 volunteers appointed by elected officials of Fairfax County, Falls Church, and the City of Fairfax. Advocates for the needs of older adults and tap their potential to enrich the community. Join monthly meeting to share ideas and concerns.

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a program to engage citizens in making their community safer, more prepared, and more resilient when incidents occur. CERT is a partnership between the Federal and Fairfax County Governments and is managed by the Fire and Rescue Department. The training prepares people to help themselves, their families, and their communities in case of major disasters when first responders are delayed. the CERT mantra: “Do the greatest good for the greatest number”.

Our club was founded in 1969 to create new friendships, provide opportunities for socializing and acquaint residents with the community.
